Terms of Service

Welcome to Ruzuna. By creating an account or using Ruzuna ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Ruzuna is

Ruzuna is a culture-tracking social platform for movies, TV shows, video games, and music. You can track what you've watched, played, and listened to, rate and review it, follow other users, and share activity with people you connect with.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Ruzuna.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative, especially involving minors.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
• Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse the Service.

4. Third-party connections

Ruzuna lets you optionally connect a Spotify account to show your listening activity (Now Playing, top tracks, playlists). When you connect Spotify:

• You authorize Ruzuna to access the specific Spotify data scopes shown on the consent screen.
• Your Spotify data is used only to display it back to you within Ruzuna and is not sold or shared with third parties.
• You can disconnect Spotify at any time from the Music tab, which removes locally stored tokens.
• Your use of Spotify functionality is also subject to Spotify's own Terms of Service.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, posts, lists). By posting, you grant Ruzuna a license to display that content within the Service to deliver the core product (e.g., showing your posts to your followers). We may remove content that violates these terms.

6. Movie, TV, game, and music data

Ruzuna displays metadata (titles, posters, descriptions, ratings) from third-party sources including TMDB, RAWG, and Apple's iTunes Search API. This data belongs to those respective providers and rights holders.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Ruzuna is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ruzuna after changes means you accept the updated terms.
